Right on! That would completely hinder us in our campaign against the republicans.

Seems to me that the Language of the government is English. What is the Constitution or the Declaration of Independence written in? That would tell the people right from the get go that WE SPEAK ENGLISH. But it is not written is stone anywhere so somebody takes the 1st amendment (which is English) and tries to say saying something in a foreign language is freedom of speech. Which is hogwash. We made the true Americans give up their native tongue. If they can do it so can all these criminals crossing the border.
Allowing other languages on the ballots is a waste of taxpayer money and it gives immigrants more rights then people born here.

Here's your answer - and it's a verifiable, valid fact:
34 Senators recently voted against making English the official language of The United States.
32 Democrats, 1 Republican and 1 Independent.
And that vote tally, my friend, speaks volumes about who the Democrats presently view as an important part of their base.

Considering the state of the world today, with terrorists and madmen with evil plans running around and here we are with horrible border security, the choice of a single language should be part of the homeland security package.
I live in Chula Vista, CA, 5 minutes from the International border with Mexico. It doesn't matter to me what race you are, as long as you treat me with the same respect I would give to you. The town I grew up in has been over-run with illegal aliens. My little town no longer appears to be part of America. Everywhere, there are vehicles with Mexico plates. No smog certification needed. No insurance needed. If they hit me, I lose.
Truckloads of latino men, wannabe gangstas cruise the town with Mexican flags flying from their vehicles. It doesn't take long to realize their intent. it's all over their faces. Just 2 nights ago, my 22 yr old son and his girlfriend were robbed at gunpoint by 3 mexicans with tire irons and crow bars.
America does not realize the war has already begun down here. We are outnumbered and being over-run. Politicians won't even look in this direction, preferring to talk about some other issue.
We're just waiting for a terrorist to stroll through the virtually unguarded border. Don't worry about the border patrol, they're not allowed to speed out on these deserted dirt roads.
They just might endanger the lives of the infiltrators....
Can you imagine my feelings when I listen to civil rights debates?

I think the Dems don't want English only because then everyone would know what they are saying. They want to keep people stupid and dependent on them and make them think that they really care about them
