Architecture speaks to me. Gothic cathedrals make me ecstatic. I love visiting old churches and cathedrals in Europe. I can spend days admiring them. I don't know why this is, as I'm not a Catholic, but I accept it. Maybe it's the collective genius that went into making them so grand.

One of the things that I most admire here in the States is the Brooklyn Bridge. What a beautiful structure, and for it's day, an engineering marvel.

I admire my brother who past away at 23. He died of a rare form of cancer and toward the end he suffered horribly. But through it all he was never angry and cared about everyone else more than anything. He never gave up and fought until the end. He was the strongest, most optimistic and loving person there ever was.

At the risk of sound cliche, I will say my father. I love that man dearly. I would be the proudest person on earth, if I could be even half the man he is today. People have told me in the past that I have the same mannerisms, and am a carbon copy of him. That is the highest compliment anyone could ever pay me.

Nags Head, North Carolina, because it is a beautiful town full of history. The Roanoke Sound is something I won't forget for decades.

JK Rowling (writer of the Harry Potter series). I mean, for one start, she begun with nothing but a child on her arms, a pen and a piece of paper, and she created this awesome, realistic world that everybody fell in love with, and the imagination she must've had to create this.... wow!! And her books are so good that she got fame and best-sellers in no time after Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (Book I), got published, and she's kept the intensity and mystery on the 6 HP books she's written....That has to be the person I admire the most, and my role model!!

this is going to sound cheesy, but you asked, so I'm saying it anyway.

my dad is the bravest and strongest person i know. He raised his brothers and sisters and went on to fight in the Vietnam war. After that he got a college degree, and then married my mother and is a very good father. He also makes the best home made grape wine ever!
He wears his bibbed over alls every day and he is the coolest man on earth!

Right now it has to be "Cap'n Donna" for the answer she gave above.

If I was in the habit of sending unsolicited e-mails I would. But I'm not. So I won't; I'll just get embarrassing in public LOL

But what a beautiful, beautiful answer that is, eh?

It's well worthy of admiration:o)
