I plan on selling my 95 accord lx, what are some things I should do before selling??

clean it inside and out,nothing like looking though some ones trash when you are interested in a car also make sure it starts and run if can't do these thing explain why,dint hide the truth. also DO NOT!!!!! change the oil trans fluid or antifreeze as if these are new some one will think you are hiding something but offer and oil change as part of the sale. these are the things i do

i own a repair shop,and i sell a few cars once in a while, first get it real good and clean make sure all the lights work on it,make sure all the fluid levels are full on it,and check all the tire pressure,and make sure its ok ,and make sure it smells good inside of it,people wont buy a car that has an odor in it,they like clean things,detail the out side of it real good too, make sure it looks its best before you even try to sell it,if you do all of this it should be ready to sell,good luck i hope this help,s

Take it to a detailer. Some even try to sell the vehicle for you. I have seen them get more than the asking price at one in my area. They do get the cars looking like new.

The best thing to do, is clean it up real good, inside and out. Put a good coat of wax on it, and be sure it is running in top shape. First impressions, will sell your car..good luck..

first thing is clean inside and outside.a clean car will sell better then a dirty 1.make sure it runs pretty good.if your going to sell,then if i were you i wouldnt put too much money in it.,but i would wash it and wax it.

Get your engine steamed clean. Makes a huge difference when they open the hood.
