This woman, and I have been friends, for 8 months. We met via email. Talked on the phone once, 3 hour conversation. She has
never seen my face, but I have seen her picture. We haven't met,
as of yet. The catch is, she is now with her ex, in an up and down
relationship. But she claims to be in love with him", after I
told her I was closing the door, with my ex. (She gets jealous easily). This woman.... Anyway, she still sends me emails,
and at the end of one letter, she writes, " Remember, you said
you will always be my friend". No matter what. So I want to know
people, should I stay friends, or should I go and leave her hanging?

Truth be told, this is a very beautiful, woman. And we connected, extremely
well, on the telephone. ( 3 hrs). I admit
she is rather insecure about herself, and
has always come to me for inspiration,
and advice, unlike her ex. I am starting
to see that, I am the guy who is boosting
her up. SO if I leave she becomes insecure even more so, again. Then her
relationship may not work with her ex.
HMMMMMM. So should I stay friends,
and let her make the decision, in the
future, or should I go, and leave her
hanging ?

We met via email, and became close
friends. She has not seen my face, but
I have seen her picture. She is now,
back with her ex, in a see-saw relationship.
But she insists on me staying in contact
with her, like forever. So, should I stick
around, or should I go and just leave ?

Stay friends. What's the harm in it. She obviously likes your conversations and what you have to say.

I'm here - I still think you should remain friends. It seems as though she sees you as a true friend to turn to (which are hard to find), you admire her in some way, so to leave her hanging would probably upset you as well as her. You have feelings for her even though she doesn't reciprocate and not being able to talk to her or remain in contact will sadden you.

All sounds a bit messed up to me. The only relationship you have with her is one of friendship. Why do you want to hang around and wait and see if she splits up with her ex again? You could stay friends with her, but don't you want to find other women to have a relationship with? Maybe one that's a bit more stable? She might take one look at your photo and you'll never hear from her again... sounds like you are the back up plan.

You must meet because this is wasting your time if you dont

and if you meet and you get along well and you can sense its genuine and she is not acting then delve further into becoming more than friends and see how she reacts to it.

If in a good way then good luck to you
if not then run like hell out of there because all she is doing is messing with your head and your heart

i would say that you talk to her more than once a day and make her feel wanted as much as you can... it should help well you seem like a nice guy to me but i would send her a pic of your face because if it was you it would be nice to no who you have been talking to for the last 8 months. and see where it gets from there but all the best
