We charged it and it only worked for about a half-an-hour. Now the buttons won't work at all.

by holding down the middle button and the play/pause button for about 20 seconds or so you can reset it....also you can get better information by going to www.apple.com/ipod for additional information regarding trouble shooting.

Restart your iPod by holding munu and the middle button at the same time. Make sure your hold switch isn't on. Visit the link http://www.apple.com/support/ipodnano/

walk into the apple store and tell them what's wrong. if there's not an apple store in your area, you can call them witht he number on the box and they will assist you (good customer service btw)
