How about a nice soft pink lip gloss to start?! 11 and 12 are both too young. Sorry, I know that's not what you want to hear but start with lip gloss. Your parents will probably let you do that. Take my advice, let your natural beauty show through before you start worrying about makeup!

That's up to your parents, but if you do, please make sure you clean your face really well both morning and night. Makeup can clog pores and cause problems with your skin, particularly if it is sensitive. If you want to start wearing makeup, start out with a really simple routine: a little bit of powder to even your skin tone, brush your eyebrows into shape, add a touch of mascara on top lashes only, and use a tinted lip balm to keep lips moist. That's really all you need at any age.

yup...that's when I started wearing makeup. Caus eI was experimenting. now I'm almost 14 and I know exactly what will look good and how to apply and all these little tips and tricks. I did my research...but if you wanna make guys go "woah" wait till you are like 15 and then come back your somphmore year wearing makeup and you'll look uber hot...but you can wear makeup...just do your reasearch...and don't be afriad to experiment...even if whatever you are using isn't made for what you're using it for, if it makes you look hot. Do it. good luck!

I think that maybe you should try just a light shade of lip gloss or clear lip gloss that just makes your lips shine. You have the rest of your life to start really getting into make-up. I just really think that 11-12 is really still too young! Besides your skin is still pure enough, you don't need make-up to make yourself beautiful. Stay young as long as you can.

11 is a little young, but if you wear like some light eye shadow, and a light lipstick or lip gloss, i would say yes, and have someone teach you how to apply your makeup most younger girls never have some one teach you how to apply it and that is what makes it look bad,
so good luck

I started wearing it when I was 10 or 11, and I don't really recommend it.

If you really want to start wearing makeup, stick to lipgloss and maybe some glitter.

i didn't really start wearing make up till i was about 16. but i definitely wore some stuff when i was 12. i usually wore lip gloss and soft colored eye shadow without the eye liner. it looked pretty casual and not bold or too mature looking. i think that is appropriate for your age. and doesn't seem like anything your parents would mind.
