Americans have been trained to think in terms of themselves as an individual - of not looking at the big picture. We are seeing the results of that now. As long as someone gets what they want, they don't care about the next person until they become the next person themselves.

When GE started the offshore trend of moving jobs the people who lost their jobs at GE were probably upset, but no one did anything. When Bill Gates bought India and moved computer jobs there no one blinked an eye. When the auto manufacturers started going, who cared except the people who lost their jobs.

The point is, when GE started people should have spoke up and forced the government to stop it, enforce penalties or something! Instead the government actually helps companies leave the US.

The same can be said for every sector you mention of life here. People let it go once because it doesn't affect them. But once you let things like that go, it just snowballs.

I don't know. The USA barely doesn't even make the top 10 for UN countries for standard of living. The USA is a big corporation/military/industrial/elitist republic. Americans live under a facade. Passive inslavement is the key to controlling you - the serfs/the slaves. You are not important! All that is important is the wealth you accumulate. You are a number. The global elite dominates the world.

Well to start with, who stated we suppose we're quantity one? We are not anything extra, than the youngsters of the entire different countries in this lovely planet. And, while the age of our nation is in comparison to all others, one might say we're nonetheless within the adolence-degree of our progress. All the matters we're, we've discovered from the relaxation of the arena. It could no longer be the high-quality factor generally, however the intentions are in most cases well. Most Americans are seeking to are living existence the high-quality we will be able to, and check out to upgrade it for the following new release. Most of the individuals right here don't seem to be superficial, and could gladly support any individual much less lucky than themselves. And to mention that we're jealous of the Arabs, or some other country, is simply effortlessly ridiculus. Remember, our individuals have come from everywhere in the global; they're Arabs, Latinos, Mexican, Italian, and so on... Why do you no longer love your kids? As a well dad or mum, you could no longer shun your youngster in the event that they did anything you did not approve of, could you? No almost always no longer. You could wish to train all of them that you understand, so once they move out into the arena on their possess, they're going to be larger all set and extra equiped to manage what existence has to throw at them. Instead of continually placing Americans down, and unhealthy-mouthing us, why do not you support advisor us or paintings in conjunction with us, to upgrade the best way matters are performed. I'm capable, inclined, and equipped to do what's essential to make existence larger for all individuals. Are you?

Good points. Depends on what dimension or attribute that countries are ranked, American is placed in different ranks. Apart from being #1 in GDP, in military spending, etc, we are certainly nowhere near #1 in other dimensions.

That fact aside, isn't it natural for people to think of themselves as #1 or at least to be associated with #1? The answers you are getting appears to prove that to be the case.

Having said that, what you point out are the worrying trends that some day, the reality would hit home. Our quality of life, in many ways, are not sustainable.

We are Number 1 and will always be #1. Americans have hearts, freedom, and possibilities which many countries can't claim. If you don't like it here move out. You be hard pressed to find another country that is the ideal place to live.

We're number one, we're number one! That's a loaded question. Try living in another country and then make your judgment, I have lived in other countries and none are perfect, trust me. My father lived in China for 3 years with his phone tapped. There good and bad things in every country. But people don't realize that America airs its dirty laundry to the world. No other country does that, NONE.

Traveling to other countries for vacations or business does not qualify you as living in other countries...South America, hehe? Name one country that you would want to grow up in in South America?

tell the whole story, start with your hate of the country, and that the free press was born here the fact that you placed it at 44 is all anyone needs to see to know where you are coming from. Maybe you should move to north Korea or Iran and then write something stupid about the government.

so tell me, who do you think is number one? china with their slave laborers missing kidneys?

America is the best, maybe not in every aspect, but we beat the snot out of the closest number 2.

is the infant mortality rates affected by the poor anchor babies jumping over the border? sure some other countries have "health care for everyone", have you ever lived in those countries? where in canada, you have to be on a waiting list for everything, break your arm, and you have to wait in line and not be scene?

Hospitals in the US, MUST by law see everyone, even if they cant pay, which is why so many illegals can be here. they have healthcare.

if we have "healthcare for everyone" then the rich will align themselves with personal doctors, and everyone else will have to wait in line, and die in line. the best doctors will get out of the system and go private. because socialism doesnt work.
