What kind of undergraduate GPA would i need to get into Columbia's School of Journalism? What about a GRE score?

This is the top Journalism school and one of the best universities in the US. I suspect that it would be difficult to get in without a GPA of at least 3.5, a GRE verbal score of at least 700 and a decent GRE AR score. It might be difficult to get in with those grades/scores.

I suspect that your quantitative GRE score won't matter much. In addition, some writing experience (e.g., being on the staff of your undergraduate newspaper or working for a magazine or newspaper) might help.

Erik,
Visit one of the college Counseling Centers and ask for the Advising Guide for Columbia School of Journalism. All the information you need will be there...but speaking with a counselor would also be beneficial. They can really lead you in the right direction.

significantly a lot less in case you want to move than in case you utilized there in extreme college. if you're shifting with a three.8 from a good 20 college your chance is more effective, in case your college isn't good 20 the prospect is grim. If I were you i'd stay the position you're and artwork in route of having your draw close's at Columbia
