My partner and I have been together for over two years and he has never bought me a christmas gift, yet gives them to his family.

Any advise?

Buy something you like and ask him if he could pay for it for an early xmas pressie

I would certainly sit down and have a talk with him about this. See what his point of view is on the subject. Then tell him your feelings about the situation. Hopefully you two can come up with a compromise. But it is best to communicate before you react on it. This way you will know the reason straight from him. But communicate first before jumping to any bad conclusions. This is the only way you will find out for sure , why he doesn't get you a gift. Then if he tells you the reason, then I would not get him a gift either. But if you two agree to get one another a gift, the problem solved. Good Luck and Take Care.

have you asked him WHY he hasn't bought you a present? Perhaps he doesn't see it as a big deal.

Suggest getting something together for each other, like a holiday, or a really nice meal out. that way, if he has a problem with Xmas and presents, it's not gone against his feelings, but you will also feel that you've had something from him.

Apparently he does not care as much for you as he does for his family. Wake up and smell the coffee NOW before you get any deeper with him.

. . . maybe a joint effort? you could buy a fairy wand and a pair of wings - he could buy the Christmas tree and a tube of KY gel . . .

don't get him anything either. It might not change his ways, but why go out of your way to do it if he doesn't care to?
