if they are a best friend and you realy care... try to encourage them to stop... if it just a friend that your not to involved with... just move on and let things run its course... you don't want to be around when he getting caught so either way try and stay clear... you can be consider aiding and abetting... just being present... as far as ratting the out to the cops... that is something you have to decide because it could come back to haunt you... so if you just move on and forget about this person it takes you out of the situation... hope this helps

If you LIKE doing illegal things, keep them as a friend. If not, you might want to change friends or help them get straight. Doing illegal things is not a recipe for long term success in life.

it really depends on what the illegal things are and how old they are.. if they are involved in violence and drugs, talk to them, tell them you are concerned, and that you want what is best for them. If they are underage you have a responsibility to tell their parents, or a clergy man, or a teacher. If it were your child, wouldn't you want to know? If it were you, wouldn't you want someone to care enough to bring it up. If you don't, you could possibly carry the guilt of being the one that knew, but never talked and could have saved their life. IT IS WORTH TALKING TO SOME ONE ABOUT IF YOU REALLY CARE ABOUT THEIR WELL-BEING.

Call the police. Just you knowing means that you are now an accessory and can face charges also.

first wat is your friend doing
if it is something like stealing or he is an addict
then try to get him to seek help himself
show him that you will always be by his side
give him the support and encouragement to turn over a new leaf but if things get out of hand then call the police
