I will hand out 500 1935 serial Silver Certificates.

Fabulous idea...
Better yet... give a little sip of paper describing / explaining these bills for the general public will have no clue, especially children, that these are something special and that they should hang on to them !
...and YES I have many of these bills but plan on keeping mine !

I think handing out Silver Certificates is a great idea! The parents will or should know, the meaning behind the value of what you are giving. The child can then choose to save your gift or spend it. Hopefully the value will be realized and the Certificate will be saved! Nice going!

why? hand them something that isn't festering with old germs and bacteria.. and that they can enjoy right here and now.. why not hand it over to their parents :D
or give them all to me.
