3 Questions on Isreal?

1, Would you like to see more moderate government in Isreal?
2, Do you feel Isreal has too much influnce on USA Foreign policy?

3, Do you have any very peaceful suggestions how ordinary citizen can help reduce Isreal's excessive influence?

1) Yes. But this is difficult to see. They are in a hot zone where both side are angry and looking at each others with knife in their hands. To have a peaceful moderate government in such environment is always a challenge. A lot of the people in Israel prefer, because of that, to elect leaders with a tough stand, because they feel more secure this way.
2) Yes, somehow they do. The US is a bit more bias towards Israel while say, France, is more bias towards Lebanon et al. But the US is interested in seeing peace for everyone.
3) No, only time may resolve all this.

1. Yes. What they have now is way too liberal, and the PM is making dangerous concessions which potentially can get more and more Israelis killed.

2. No. There is no denying that AIPAC is a vert powerful lobby, but AIPAC is made up of Americans, not Israelis. Israel itself has no influence over US policy.

Have you ever looked at a map? Israel is a tiny sliver of land surrounded on all sides by terrorist governments. They have a right to defend themselves. They are our only allies in the Middle East. I support them 100%.
