In my opinion, The only way that we will ever get beyond racism. Is for everyone to stop trying to play the race card. Only too often do I hear ' They didn't hire me because I'm white and they needed a minority, or they didn't hire me because I'm black. To both of those statements my response is Maybe they didn't hire you because you screwed up the interview. My point is, that it's a constant easy excuse if things don't go someones way. Your right we are all the same in Gods eye. And skin color means nothing. Good and evil people come in all skin colors. We have come a long way thankfully, but there's still a long way to go. There is nothing wrong with being proud of your own heritage, as long as your still willing to respect someone Else's as well.

How is Candy Land. I agree but to say you have no racism is mos likely untrue. No predjudice? Never make fun of "rednecks", hippies, so on. If you are human you have some predjudice, though I agree you may have much less and act less on it than others. When groups are different, especially in socio-economic ways, there will be rivalry, predujice and stereotyping.

Stereotyping has its place. If I see someone dressed like a gang-banger, I will assume he/she is. If someone looks like a bum or slob, and I am looking to hire somebody, I would probably not hire that person.

Say what you want but it is true.

LIVE LOVE. But don't try to change the world, the world cannot change. its not what WE can do, but ask what can YOU do? let it start with you. and one heart at a time. sadly human beings are an inherently selfish and envious creature of flesh, and racism and bigotry have been around as long as the earth has turned. Teach your children, live your heart, and when someone comes along and smashes all you believe to pieces, pick them up, because love can heal.

You can't stop racism for one clear reason---too many people base their identities on being victims. They need a reason to hate others and if the race card gives them an excuse then they will use it. Another point I'd like to make is this: we can never eliminate racism as long as it's okay to discriminate against whites. As long as we are presumed to be racist and deserving of punishment this will go on and on and on........

Its as easy as what Jesus said, "To love one another". It would be so wonderful if the people of this world would stop seeing the color of a persons skin and just look into the persons heart. Prejudice is ignorance.

So you're perfect in every way, are you? Morally superior? Racism isn't a disease, it's a state of mind. You can't force people to like people they don't like and you can't please everyone. Racism will always be there. Sad but true.

Everyone is made in God's image, so everyone is as good as everyone else. I can also tell you that i have no racism in me, but my daddy is quite racist, especially when he's driving. It kills me to go in the car with him, because i know that if i speak out against him, i'll get shouted at so much...
Lots of people are racist because they reject the unfamiliar, or are even embarrassed.....we need to educate them...
