yeah. If you want to abuse your body, who am I to stop you. Just make sure you carry plenty of insurance so that able-bodied taxpayers don't have to pick up the tab for the medical problems arising from a bad posture - like a twisted spine, backache, bad knees, breathing problems, bad heart, etc.

I have the same problem, the only thing is after all these years of being hounded it turns out I have kypohpis which is curvature of the spine. The slouching had put pressure on my spine and has caused fractures. As I get older I will over time develop a hump. I have not choice but to slouch, because of my condition, maybe you don't either, but if you do I would recommend you to try to stand up straight, when you become older you will be glad you did

Slouching not only affects your appearance. It can move the vertebra out of alignment and cause a great deal of pain, loss of range of motion and bone deterioration problems as you get older. Sitting up straight can actually make your quality of life better as you age.

:::::smiles:::::::they want you to stop slouching so you look tall and hansome. Seriously dear, if you slouch it does effect your breathing, your heart rate, your muscles and your bones. Everything sort of scrunches in and doesn't work as well.

It might take a few years, but ultimately you will have pain in your back and shoulders. Best case: you will be uncomfortable. Worst case: you might be jumping around in a tower, ringing bells.

Ever seen those old ladies with their backs bent so far forward that they're practicaly folded in two? That's what you'll end up like.

BTW... it make your chest look nicer if you sit up straight. That made me want to sit up. :)
