You should vote for the person and his beliefs. By changing parties have you also changed your thoughts and beliefs. If the answer is no I haven't changed then support the person you voted and believed in. The party system is silly to begin with and here at home, many a good person ha not gotten elected because of his party affiliations. Some people will only vote party not the candidate. Sad situation for American politics.

I would not support one who switched from Repub to Dem, because I believe the Dems are responsible for 98% of the voter fraud that takes place in this country. When the do that, they SOIL the sacrifices that were made by the Americans who fought and died or were wounded protecting the right to vote, and our other rights and freedoms as well. I will never vote for a Dem.

As long as the candidate remained moderate I would support him or her. The far left and the far right have split us moderates in half. Whether your a Republican or a Democrat We The People have more in common than not. We make up 85% of the population in the US. Yet the far right and far left remain exchanging leadership of our nation and they are quite happy to do so.
Remember Hitler? Only 4% of Germany belonged to the Nazi party when he took over. I'm not comparing either side to Nazism. Yet who knows the possibilities. We The People, 85% of the country deserve a voice in power so that gridlock and special inquiries will come to an end and real work can be accomplished. Thus saving thousands of lives and billions upon billions of dollars. Simply put, this is right, and this is just.

If you are voting strictly for a party, you shouldn't be voting. If an elected official were to change parties but not their views, I wouldn't care. If they changed their views and did a complete flip then there would be problems. I don't care if they are a donkey or an elephant as long as they are the best person for the job.

I would support the issues that he supported, which I agreed with.
I'm sure I would question his changing parties. What kind of candidate would switch parties after he was elected?
I'm sure I would not be as much of a fan of his/her's, as I was prior to the election.

I like to choose the candidate that addresses issues that are important to me. I don't care what party they are in. I think as a society we need to stop separating these people and get down to the tasks at hand. It should not matter if they decide to go to the "other side". As long as they are doing there jobs properly, I don't have a problem with it.
Now......if they went to the other side and changed their views on the issues......then I would have a problem with it.
