Tsking it back is probably the best option, but from experience I have found that sometimes a crumb gets under the key and makes pressing it difficult, try blowing hard down the side of the key, or jiggling it with a penknife or something. It usually works for me. If you do decide to do this, don't tell the shop you did it though!!!!!

be careful Laptops are very sensitive and delicate. If you pry off the key accidentally it can be tricky to slide it on Try turning the computer ( when off) upside down and shaking it ( gently) You can try the long nozzle on a vacuum cleaner to see if you cannot suck it out Again be careful You can buy a can of compressed air and try this as well , but a can of air is $ 10 so try this last Are you sure that something is stuck in the key area ? The key might be defective

TAKE IT BACK IMMEDIATELY! I bought a new 1200.00 laptop 18 months ago and have had all the same oddball things happen including key that sticks). I'm still having same little issues that cause me grief. I think we just got lemons!

If your laptop is new you will have it under insurance , take it back to the shop and have it exchanged or let them look at it for you.
Do not work on it yourself or you could loose the insurance cover

I get that sometimes but I persevere and then it goes back to normal on its own. Try typing "Sticky keys" in google and see what they come up with.
