Ok i played all the sports and we used Black eye paint to keep the sun out of our eyes and its called battle paint ... its always worn during a Big game by all the players like during playoffs or something like that .

its not just blsck players dew rags are illegal and that is the only under helmet headgear besides sweat bands allowed by the nfl

dew rags, helps keep their hair in place and out of their eyes, some people also wear them at night and it helps along with brushing to get those lovely ridges in their hair.........
