Garning Republican support so the last 2 years of his Presidency doesn't become a lame duck if and when the Dems sweep the November elections.
It's hard to get his Republican policies passed when the majority of the house and senate is Democrat.

I am not with Bush, no matter what he does, because I do not believe a word he states. There is also another side to the Georgia story, CNN tells us (that doesn't mean it is true but it is a possibility that this is really what is happening). The small part of Georgia that wanted it's Independence (just like Georgia did from Russia) is getting an "ethnic cleaning" by the Georgian military. They do not want it to be seperated and I do not know what "ethnic" in this situation actually means. According to CNN Georgia went in and started an "ethnic cleansing" similar to Bosnia, because they want it to be completely a part of Georgia. Russia states that they went in to SAVE lives, not to destroy Georgia. Interesting, isn;t it. Whether this is true or not, we have not had one word mentioned up to yesterday that there IS another side to this story.

I can't believe he would go somewhere that his audience isn't screened first. Maybe if you haven't been invited to the rally already that means you can't go.
