I think skinny jeans look GREAT on skinny people...but I'm not skinny. I have a small waist, but I also have big legs & big hips. Are bootcut jeans still en vogue? What are my alternatives? Please provide picture links. :)

i think you should wear a little bit looser jeans (not to loose though) that flare out at the bottom. That should even everything out. GOOD LUCK!!!

Yep I know but just keep buying the flared style, when it goes out from the knee it helps to balance your hips - most jean stores have flared as a permanent style because it is still always flattering for people over size 0.

You can wear whatever you want and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. If they make you feel good and you're comfortable go ahead. I'm definitely not tiny I've worn them and gotten compliments. The key is really to make sure that they fit you, just like you would with any other piece of clothing. If you're wearing something that fits you properly (i.e. no bulges) no one is going to say or think anything is wrong with it.

To be honest with you I don't think you should wear baggy jeans... they will not be helping your body out at all..I am not saying to wear really tight jeans but use some jeans that will show off the curves on your body girl.. I use "IT" jeans either the "skinny" or the "Twiggy" jeans..They sell them @ Nordstrom's.. I am not skinny myself and they even give my butt a little help if you know what i mean. ; )

The heck with what 'fashion' says. Buy and wear the clothes that flatter your figure. A bootcut jean that is not too tight across your hips and thighs will give you a nice silhouette.

bootcut jeans are always in. i would recommend skinny jeans for people with big hips and legs. bootcut jeans will compliment your curves while skinny jeans will make your curves look lumpy. go for the bootcut!!!

One of my really good friends has the same problem as you and she swears by American Eagle straight leg jeans. They are not as slim and tight as skinny jeans but they have the same look.
