Michael J. Fox decided to do an advertisement for cadidate McCaskill of Missouri on his own accord. He had decided to make the advertisement without anyone asking him to do so in the first place. This is because he, suffering from Parkinsons, genuinely believes stem cell research needs to be funded more. Democrats never asked him to make the advertisement, but he did gladly in order to put his message forward that he is a strong supporter of stem cell research. Knowing this, how in the world can anyone possibly say it was exploitation?? Michael J. Fox desperately wanted to make this advertisement in support of stem cell research. That, in my opinion, is NOT exploitation.

Not only was it not exploitation, but Fox's leadership has been going on for some time, to the tune of $95 million raised so far for medical science.

Limbaugh's behavior was like that of the school yard bully who picks on the smaller, sicker classmate. He is a disgusting human being; and his behavior is worthy only of blame. He couldn't counter the excellent point made by Fox's appearance that stem cell research is a worthy pursuit to support.

So he chose to riducule a person who has been treasured by many and even more respected for bravely pursuing his career and his public service, despite a debilitating and deadly disease.

Shame on Limbaugh...what a shoddy performance.

It really depends on what Fox knew about the legislation. If he was only told that it was stem cell research and not that a good portion of it covers cloning, then it would be exploitation. However, it is also up to Mr. Fox to look into what he supports and not just support things blindly. Until we hear every part of the situation, we will not know if he was exploited or not and quite frankly we should not care. The funny part about it is everyone did exactly what Rush wanted, his opinion is now front page news whether we agree or not. The man is a genius when it comes to free advertisement and we all just fall right into line for him.

I am a conservative - that does not like Rush Limbaugh. He proved his stupidity once again with his remarks concerning Michael J Fox. Rush obviously knows nothing about Parkinson Disease. He said that Michael J Fox was acting out his symptoms in an exaggerated way - this is simply not true. Even on your meds your symptoms can still be very apparent. Rush Limbough really p****d me off!!!!
