Perish the thought! I have a bet on them to defeat Blackburn now. Hopefully the game has 3 goals as well.

I suspect not. yes west ham have started the season badly, however, every team has a bad patch in the season it only appears worse as the hammers have started badly. secondly we know from the strong position achieved in league and cup that west ham has a strong squad that has been improved over the summer and it could just be the new players are taking longer than hoped to gell with the established players. thirdly west ham have off the field problems to do with their takeover which should be resolved soon to allow the team to focus on the football. Finally alan pardew has been blamed by the fans but he is a good manager who i believe will lead west ham out of this bad spell and climb towards the top half of the league. even if a change is made teams usually gain a boost from a new manager which would see them escape their current problems. either way i cannot see the current problems continuing much longer!

Hopefull not... i seriously doubt they will go down too... they have too much quality... the slow start will slowly be rectified and they will soon push their way up the table... hopefully when the team get used to the 2 argentinian superstars mascherano and teves, the team can play like they did last season and secure a mid table finish... i predict that they will end up 12th to 15th this season...

I found it interesting they win when both Tevez and Macherno were not in the lineup. They finally dropped Mascherno and they had a better midfield. Tevez is injured but he is worthless thus far.

But anyway, I think they will avoid it. Maybe pardew gets sacked and they have to fight until the last day, but I think they will make it.
