Should abortion be allowed as a method of birth control?

ummmm, a man should have a say, since they are the father, the fetus is not part of a woman's body, for it is not a body part. I am not advocating one side or the other, but WTF with attacking me

oh, breaker, if a woman was carrying my child, and wanted an abortion, if I could, i would put the fetus into my body.

I'm pro-choice.

But no I don't believe it should be a woman's method of birth control.

However, if abortion is considered it should be because of a rare situation.....and then she and her doctor should make the very hard decision whether or not to abort.

Depends on the kid. You see some rugrat on the floor at Walmart kicking and screaming while his plus-size female "single parent" is polishing off the last of her Super Sized order of french fries, and I can begin to see the logic in the pro-choice philosophy. I read somewhere a couple weeks ago, that one of the pro-abortion (sorry, PRO-CHOICE) groups is proposing legislation that would permit a "fetus ex utero" type of abortion to be carried out up to 24 months. ("fetus ex utero" is where a fetus, despite the best efforts of the abortionist is born alive and has to be terminated outside the womb) Don't know if it's true or not, but that sure would cut down on the public temper tantrums. The little nipper is considered to be only a "viable tissue mass" until his or her second birthday. Jonathan Swift (google "A Modest Proposal") would laugh his butt off on this one!

If you take the morning after pill no body's going to know if you were pregnant. Not even yourself. I would rather see women take these pills than see them walking into an abortion clinic. I think every woman should keep a supply of these on hand just in case they have unprotected sex.

This would solve all of your problems except in the case where it was a planned pregnancy and something went horribly wrong. I would support any women who choose to have an abortion in a case like that.

No, most women have birth control because their birth control failed them. Also, you think men should have a say in it but what would you think about a man who wants his girlfriend to abort? Would you still want his "parental rights" to be respected? There is no compromise in abortion.

Unfortunately, that is the reality of what has become of the pro-abortion movement. You can decide after 39 weeks and 6 days of pregnancy that, no I don't want this life and KILL the baby. Abortion on demand.

Well, by your picture, you look like a male. What business is it of any man(except a Dr.) if a woman has an abortion? If the impotent men who stand in picket lines in front of women's health centers across would sit down and shut up, there would not be so much publicity and turmoil. Wouldn't you want to be the judge of whether or not YOU would carry, deliver and raise a child instead of the general public. ??? Grow Up.

Abortion is morally wrong.
However, the Supreme Court has ruled that it is protected under our Constitution, and I therefore support a woman's right to terminate her unborn child.

HOWEVER, in the case of late-term abortions, in which the fetus can feel pain and knows it's being killed, I do not support it.

Careful, the bleeding hearts are coming, and they're here to tell you that as a man, its none of your business. Well I'm here to tell all those ignorant liberals it is the man's business, its half his child. If a woman is pregnant and wants to abort, what will it do to the father who wants to keep that child? But the liberals don't care. They tolerate everything that makes them feel good, nothing more. They don't challenge themselves to actually practice what they preach, which is equality.

I have my opinion like everyone else. But I can't believe it is the number one defining issue between the two parties.

My answer to your question is most humbly, It's none of my business how you view it.

And in some cases retroactive abortion to any age should be allowed once it is proven the person will never be of value to society.
