Problems aren't important to any workplace, but if you are trying to learn the skills necessary for business there are only a couple ways to learn them, and word problems are one of them.

Don't look for an easy way out. If you want to be successful, you have to work at it. If you want to learn, you have to study... and do your homework.

We don't stand there and think in polynomial equasions.

So if you want to function in the workplace, you will be asked questions by your bosses and your customers that involve "word problems".......

So if I buy a car from you today, how much will I save, and if I want until 6 months from now, will I get a better deal...hmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
