Yes it is warm,why,well there is an important player,so important that if it stops functioning,Europe could experience adverse weather conditions,its the global convey er belt system or short the gulf stream,which ferries warm water from deep within the tropical ocean in the central and south Atlantic to the north Atlantic ocean.
So no matter how much the air temperature drops,the ocean will remain at a constant temperature in the H70, L to High80s,but average temps.not cool are cold.

The water is always warm in the Bahamas just like the weather.

It is warm, just like the climate there. Check out Port Lacuya on Grand Bahama Island - it's beautiful there! You can find places that will rent you snorkeling equipment and some places will take you out to a coral reef to see beautiful fish and coral!
