Is it hypocritical of me to set my alarm for an hour before I actually need to get up, and will I go to hell for it?

(Yes, I'm being sarcastic)

OK, I posted it here because it was meant to be a kind of sarcastic comment on how people have to bring religion into everything! Did none of you get that?
(Also I probably post everything here because you guys are my friends, and you might miss my wit if it was posted somewhere else)
And, ByTheSea, thank you

Alarm clocks were created by MAN; God would never do something so sadistic!
But snooze buttons may just be the Devil's handiwork. On our alarm if you don't hit the snooze bar at precisely the right spot (about one milimeter wide), it doesn't shut off. One of these mornings I'm gonna smash that sucker into next week!
P.S. If you end up in hell for it, I'll be the woman across the flame-filled chasm still hammering the clock...

yes this is a great question because i love sarcasm(as you might have guessed). i myself get pissed at ppl who have to ask why did you post here or involve god in everything. i wish there was a button on my keyboard that i could push that would make a hand come out and slap them silly. not once but twice. maybe even poke em in the eye or push them off there chair.

Why is this question under Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgendered?

But, to answer the question, God didn't create alarm clocks, man did. It might have been divine influence, but, my guess is that it was actually the work of the devil.

:-D hee hee.

I think you have it backwards, the devil created time and deadlines. thats why so many of us die from heart disease, high blood pressure and diabetes. God invented the snooze button, so every time the alarm went off, the devil would feel some pain in that we reject his standards and inventions.

I think it's there so that sadistic b*tches like me can torment our SO. *grins* Does that make the snooze button evil? I guess so.
