Most important thing is DON'T PICK THEM!
I know its tempting bc they are so yucky but the less you actually touch your face the better. Trust me!
Drink water until you feel like you couldn't drink another drop...then drink some more lol
Your skin needs vitamins and nutrients to rejuvenate itself, fight infection and heal without scarring. So while eating chocolate and stuff may not necessarily affect your acne at all, eating lots of green leafy vegetables and fresh unprocessed foods will. For the better.
Also, a company called, Ella Bache, make a product simply called, "yeast cream", which I have found invaluable. The last thing is exercise, so your skin can sweat and expell some of the crap lurking beneath waiting to ruin your day and also regular exfoliation.
If there is an Ella Bache salon near you, they give great advice.
Most importantly, don't let it get you down too much. You're still YOU and how beautiful is that!! lol
Good luck hun,
Love from A x

Drink tons of water. Try not to be tempted to touch your face during the day. Excercise more often. There's a product called ProActiv and I've used it before..but it wasn't really all that great. I would suggest (saving a ton of money) to just wash your face twice a day (once in the morning once at night) with a cleanser that has salicylic acid. Is your skin prone to be oily? I would also look for an oil-free cleanser. I use St-Ive's for my cleanser. Neutrogena carries great products as well. Weekly, I would try gently exfoliating your face with a small face loofah (it will help declog the pores and get dead skin cells off your face). Then apply a mudmask. And hey, if you feel like indulging once in awhile, your local salon should offer facials (which are heavenly). If the acne persists, you may need a special medication, I would see your dermatologist. Good Luck :) I promise you'll get through it!

1. wash your face with acne wash every morning and every night before you go to sleep 2. also try using Clinique acne items because they have worked amazing on everyone i know 3. Don't wear as much make up because that can be the cause to a lot of pimples 4. DONT SQUEEZE THEM!-- when you squeeze a pimple it makes it worse and it will be on your face for more than a week longer and make it look bloody and red

Can you tell us more? Are these just a few pimples? or is this a recurring thing?
Murad makes an excellent acne spot treatment, that does the trick, but you haven't indicated if you've got any allergies.
If you're looking for a low-cost, spot clearing option, there's always a dab of toothpaste and peroxide to dry them out.
If you need to start an acne treatment program, I'll suggest Murad again, as they have a great treatment kit for acne sufferers, and it's low cost.

Have you tried any anti-ache washes or creams yet? If so and they haven't worked, I am a big fan of Pro-Activ. I found it to work when others didn't. The only thing is that it is a bit expensive, so I would try other stuff you can get a drug store first. If you want to try Pro-Activ, you can often get better prices on ebay. Just be sure to read what size is being sold before bidding.
