When contacted Nokia "care"line on phone for loose hinge of my 9500 communicator, the call centre employee says they dont care how many times I open or close the top cover. A loose hinge means the product was misused by me.
I suspect it may not be the company's views at large, and this particular employee may be rogue.
How to tell Nokia its cal centre is driving customers away by high handedness?

Yes, I agree with ML. Also, the hinges should never have come off. I hope you got their name. When i encounter a rude operator/receptionist or other employer, i usually remain composed and friendly, I ask for their names, the name of their supervisor, then I make a complaint. I'm not a rude person, neither do i accept rudeness from others.

Good luck and I hope you can exchange your cell phone, what happened to you should never have happened. :-)
