Use quotation marks around the file name.

For example...
cd "My Documents"

open start menu and go to run
write cmd inside run text box
open dos window
then write cd and space and path parent folder
after that write edit space file name

Rename the file names using windows, exchange all spaces with underscores "_".

Hi!

Really easy! Go to the folder where the file.txt is located, type dir (directory structure) and see what it displays for your file. Since names usually are 8 characters long, the name might be truncated.
Then type edit Truncated_name~number.

Ex. "file.txt": edit file.txt
"my document.txt": edit mydocu~1.txt
