The castration debate is a farce. Pedophilia is a sexual mind set. Even though the pleasure of sexual contact is eliminated....their mind is still stimulated for any type of sexual contact.
There is also a debate of lifetime gps monitoring....again this will only send more criminals underground as did the Jessicas law. Granted they may get caught, eventually...but how many children will be offended prior to there arrest.

because pedophiles often perpetrate their crimes without their nuts or penis. They still have hands to offend with and a mouth. At that point of removing all the things the offend with, they can still hurt children by photoing them and spreading the material. No, I don't think pedophiles should get jail. My tax dollars are too valuable, I say hang them!

Not all pedophiles are men...just what would you cut off of a female pedophile?
Reopen the leper colonies and ship them off...let them find a way to survive on their own.

I think they need to go farther than that. Just because you castrate them doesn't mean their minds are still going to think about it. Maybe a lobotomy would be better.

I would be for it if it worked, but it doesn't because it's more than just a sexual thing, it's an illness.
