then will he be able to use my itunes account or would he have to establish his own? What would happen?

iTunes will tell him that this is a different computer than it usually connects too and he can set it as the default computer, your options are set new computer as default and don't set, if you set it as the new default it will erase all of the songs currently on it and upload all of the songs in the library of the new computer.

If you don't, it will just pretend the iPod isn't there.

Itunes sucks . U shud be using this for Ur Ipod downloads if you want to save money and avoid technical problems

he could make his own, or he could use yours if he just logged in. depends on what you wanna do.
