Yes, it's normal and it is because the skin IS stretching. Use lots of lotion, a couple of times a day, every day. I had 3 kids and NO stretch marks just by using lotion and keeping my skin in condition. The bumps are probably just skin irritation from the scratching. Using the lotion will stop the itch and the bumps will clear up. Congratulations on the baby and best of everything for all your futures!

When I was pregnant I had this exact thing, it was on my belly and my upper thighs. My OB told me to use Caladryl Clear Lotion and if the red bumps and itching didn't go away within 10 days to let her know because it could be something called PUPPP.
See the following link for more info on PUPPP

yes it is normal to be itchy, but try not to scratch to much you'll get major stretch marks. Try using cocoa butter evertime you stomach itches

Yes, this is normal. Try the lotion "Mother's Friend" it is a good moisturizer. It should stop the itching. Use it at least twice a day.

Maybe you should put an ointment on your stomach to prevent you from itching so much...

ITCHING MEANS STRECH MARKS. SO IF I WERE YOU I WOULD BREAK OUT THE COCO BUTTER NOW. ASAP. IT WILL HELP THE ITCHING AND INTURN MAKE THE STRECH MARKS HEAL EASIER AND THERE WILL BE LESS OF THEM.
