Emotion is a strength. But you can use strength to destroy something.
Loving somebody is exercising your emotional strength. Anger, Hating and jealousy is also exercising emotional strength(passion) but for the demise of onself and others.
You can also destroy yourself if you loved somebody too much say in a one sided love affair, but that would be a personal choice and the some choose to live in misery. No comments
Have Emotion = have strength - use wisely.

I guess I would say it was a strength, some can hide them better that other Believe it or not, even the Strongest man cries. I think it is healthy to laugh and cry. The downfall is, if you don't like the way you are feeling, you tend to start self medicating through, drugs, alcohol, gambling, shopping, eating disorders, and various other addictions. Some are visable to others. But HUMAN emotions are a good thing, for GOD created this for us.

If used in the correct way all emotion is a strength. The mind needs to be trained and focused for this to happen. The brain is just a tool and as with all tools when used correctly you get results!! Meditation is the key.

Emotions are a strength. If we made decisions based upon logic and reason alone we would actually not be able to function. It takes the passions of love, desire, anger, and despair to make us truly creatures of action. If you feel overwhelmed by your emotions then you feel exactly the way you're supposed to feel. We're not machines or Vulcans. There's no reason for us to try to suppress our feelings, we simply need to learn to channel them toward constructive pursuits. Some of the greatest art, music, and literature ever created came from the well of so-called "negative" emotions. Never let people tell you that emotions are "bad."

this may sound strangely nerdy but anyway.....look at Doctor Who, the Daleks and the Cybermen. Who wins in the end? Those who have been starved of emotion and show no fear or those who fight for what and who they love. Emotions give humanity a reason to go on.....they are a strength...they teach us all that we need to know...good or bad.

Compassion is an act inspired via empathy. the two compassion and empathy probably are characteristics that income human beings with the aid of fact human beings remember upon social networks to stay to tell the tale as a species. customarily it would be seen a capability. in spite of the incontrovertible fact that that's possible to modern-day individual circumstances the place that's for sure no longer a capability for somebody or team of persons. those could be dealt with as such, separate circumstances that deviate from the popular rule that compassion and empathy as human characteristics are a capability. The solutions is therefor the two.

You are right .. and have already answered your own question ... but I suppose you want our answers ..
Some emotions are strengths all the time ... like love which is not a weakness but can be used against you ... like most emotions can
Others like jealousy, anger etc.. are not nessecarily strengths .. but like love ... they are hard to control and can be used by or against you.
For example in sport . john Mcenroe used to use his anger to push himself... Which ended up being positive (for him) results wise
Dr BAd
ps. But emotions like fear, hate & anger ... lead to the dark side ... and once u turn to the dark side ... forever will it control your destiny ...CONSUME you it will..!!

Human emotion is the ying yang of our life. Mostly it is a source of strength; it's positive side drives and colors love, art, imagination, and ambition. It's negative drives us to crime and anti-social acts.

I think it is mostly a weakness- of course without them we'd have no sense of humanity and there would be chaos, but it definitely makes everything a lot more difficult. A great task would be learning to control them exceptionally.
