I'd say the front (i.e the colour part) is pretty scratch resistant as it is. Neither will scratch that easily, certainly none more than the other. The problem with scratches is with the metal back and that's the same for both iPods

The correct answer is that they both scratch the same. BUT you can notice the scratches more on the black ipods. The white ipods conceal the scratches better, so if you're worried, buy the white one. And above all -- get a case for it man!!

I own the black nano and my daughter owns the white one. My black one is purifier, a lot less scratched than hers. in spite of the indisputable fact that it could be because I religiously placed it away and not in any respect in basic terms drop it in my handbag. obviously, you comprehend the hot nanos are available in one of those colorations now!!! go loopy and get pink or eco-friendly or or or.... alternatives!!!

Probably white because scratches usually take the color off of the ipod, and if you take the color off of black, it will have white streaks on it, and if you take the color off of white, it will show no noticable scratches. ((especially if you get a cute little case for it!))
