I paid about $10,000, school plus supplies, books, table, etc. I saw a school that was $6500, plus supplies, books, etc. It varies, state to state. Each state has different requirements, some require licensing, some don't. Some schools have dormitories, some are at community colleges, some are independent. I finished school in 18 months, graduated with 750 hours of massage training, my state requires 600 hours to become licensed. It's not cheap after school either, you have continuing education classes, most classes are about $200-700, there is liability insurance, about $200 a year, licensing fees $150, national certification tests $200, not to mention your supplies if you work for yourself, lotions, oils, sheets, music, office rent, etc.

It really matters where you go, but the ones that I have looked into in Colorado are about $22,000 and there are two different courses you can take, the basic course is about nine months and the extended course is another six after that (and about another 10,000)
