Hun,that is exercise and it is very healthy to exercise.However,if you simply exercise and skip watching what you eat by eating healthier you arent going to lose weight.A healthy diet plan consists of,eating healthy,4-6 small meals a day (healthy meals)and a great work out.Many of us go to the store and we are starving so,we tend to not make the best decisions about what is healthy for us.We usually buy something that is quick and easy but in reality it is full of stuff it isnt necessarily good for us.If we went to the store on a full stomach,we would be more concious about what we are buying and placing in our shopping carts.Avoid sweets,not all together but limit them.Such as try using the sweets as a reward.If you lose so many pounds,or have done really well lets say,for a week maybe(?) then reward yourself by having your favorite dessert at the end of the week.Dont deprive yourself for food,but use it as a tool to motivate you to lose the excess weight.It will motivate you to work hard each day,knowing that at the end of the week if you are doing really well that you will get your favorite goodie.Dieting is such a harsh word,and most simply hate the word.Just simply change your eating habits,drink alot of water(as it cleans out your system),eat 4-6 small meals and use the sweets sparingly as rewards for yourself.That along with a nice exercise plan and you will start losing the pounds.Good luck.Have a good day hun!
P.S.If you drink alot of sodas,eliminate those as well.They are full of sugar and are not good for you.

You will lose weight as long as you're burning more calories than you take in.
So, monitor your calorie intake, then burn off as many of those as desired on your treadmill! (Don't forget... you're burning off a lot of them by just walking around the house and being active, so don't kill yourself trying to walk off 1600 calories a day on a treadmill; that's a bit much!)
Does your treadmill have one of those little counters that shows you how many calories you've burned? Those come in handy.

Don't forget to tone too. You can loose up to 2 dress sizes by just toning alone. Get a pair of 10 pound dumbells and streatch with them.
You have to build up your stomach abs and core for the best support. It will also enlongate your torso and make you appear taller and more confident
