HELP.....What is Aron Hakodesh?

i know it's something to do with Judaism oak but im not quite sure

The Holy Ark.

(As in, that object containing the two ,tablets with the ten commandments made popular in the first Indiana Jones movie.)
It was located in the Temple in Jerusalem.

In general terms, an "Aron" is the box in a synagogue in front containing the scrolls of the Torah.
