Ask for another option. Who wants to live for 1000 years? Assuming that the aging process was correspondingly the same, I'd be old and decrepit for at least 200 of those 1000 years..probably more.
I like the current system just fine.

No I am already bored with the everyday routine of life I couldn't imagine working for a 1000 years. I don't want to see this world in 1000 years either. There might not be much left by then.

Interesting question. I just read a story called, The Boy Who Would Live Forever by Moya Simons. He was 12 or so and found his situation to be very difficult. He always had to move around and somehow become adopted because he was too young to take care of himself. I suppose if you were an adult, that situation would not be an issue. And moving around constantly when people started becoming suspicious would be ok. Imagine everything you could learn and the experiences you could have! It would be very difficult having to leave family and friends but I suppose after a period of time you would adjust.

If I could qualify the parameters or attributes for the 1000 years, definitely yes. With my accumulated knowledge and experience I could strive to make life better for everybody else. With that long lead time, probability is good I could...

No! because that would remove you from God's mastered plan for you, simply because if a genie existed that could do that, he would already be God.

I don't think I'd want to because I'd feel like I was cheating fate. Or rather I was cheating God, if you believe in Him. I would feel guilty of having this privilage while all of my other friends and family died a normal life.
