Judging by the unfair means by which Fabio Grosso dived to win Italy a penalty in injury time, Australia deserved to at least take the match into extra-time. Coming out to say that Australia should have won the match is a bold statement to say the least, but they definitely did not deserve to lose in such a manner.

However, this is football in its current state, and little can be done to rectify such 'wrongdoing'.

The game should at least gone into extra time... but i dun agree tat Aus should have won since a man down doesn't mean they will certainly lose... if the italians can hold on in extra time, it can go either way during the spot kicks...

no , and even if Aus, deserved to win that match he must be neutral. I mean in his position he shouldn't show how much he hates the Italian team.
Italy played with only 10 players in that match and if he thinks the penalty was unfair he must have missed the final game where the penalty wasn't fair either.

I asked the same question pls let me know what do u think :

NO!!! even if the penalty wasn't awarded to Italy they still would have gone into overtime, therefore he wouldn't know exactly which team would win.
