I watch the show too. But I suppose that if I was locked in a house with no junk food or fast food available and they only thing I had to do all day long is workout and exercise then I could lose that much weight every week. I'm sure this is a drastic lifestyle change for most of these people. On past seasons of the show there were always people saying they stopped at McDonald's on their way to work every morning. When they are in the house they don't have that option.

Great question...I say it's as real as it gets, however, with state-of-the-art gym equipment, and gorgeous ranch to go for a jog or walk on at a blink, and no home pressures for the most part...what else do you have to concentrate on...losing weight...It works, they're healthy, so why not, you know? It's when they get home, can they keep it up, and then all the family stuff comes back into play too.

The people on the show were/ are all very heavy. A heavy person will drop larger amounts of weight when they first start a weight loss program. If you didn't notice in the beginning they were losing in the double digits but now are losing in the single digits.

Not at all. Its amazing what one can do when put up to it. The participants did not work out and did not eat healthy before they participated on the show. When they are in the house they have to eat healthy and work out HOURS a day.
Also- havent you seen updates on the participants? They look great! No way that can be a scam.
