I trip over my daughter's dog constantly. She is still a puppy. She walks ahead of you and stops and turns around without warning. She just stands there wagging her tail while I'm trying to catch my balance.

I have. I own 2 pugs, and they are very loving and loyal. The unfortunate thing about them is that they don't want to leave your side, and they follow you around alot (especially if you are in the kitchen and they think you are getting food). That's when they get stepped on the most.

I couldn't agree more with "gatorfly3..."'s pertinent observations. I also have a pug puppy, he is absolutely the cutest, most loyal and affectionate creature you ever wanna meet (at least to me). And he shadows me around everywhere - to a point that I am even forced to take him to work everyday. I bet he would go without food and water if he had to, but I am convinced he is completely incapable of surviving for one single minute without love. Pugs are essentially "big dogs in a very small package" and that's what I have to remind myself every time he does his disappearing act under my feet. So far, I had been fortunate enough NOT to have stepped on him, and I sure as heck hope I never will, though it's not exactly an easy task! What really scares me, though, is that he loves to jump in my bed - once he thinks I am asleep - and doze off next to me (despite his own wonderful, and comfortable I might add, little sleeping bag) - so I am petrified of rolling over and accidentally crushing him to death one of these days (at 6'3'', 210 lbs., essentially a giant compared to him.)

Cats and dogs...often. The dog I have now is still young...golden retriever and she follows me everywhere in the house. She frequently trips me on the stairs by walking on the back of my slippers and I just about take a nose dive down them...fortunately I have always been able to brace myself with my hands on both walls but one of these days I'm going to be carrying stuff and .....

I have...countless of times! They just all of a sudden get underfoot! Especially when they are begging for food when I'm making dinner or if they want to go outside. They eventually learn to avoid being stepped on and either stand back from you or they (I have cats) jump up to a higher place to watch me prepare dinner. Have you tripped over your pet?

Our cat used to trip me almost every morning as I went out the door. I always complained about it. I think our neighbor stole her. I miss her. I wish she was still here even if she did get in the way sometimes. She was a Russian Blue. My miniature daschund tripped me a couple of times. I swear he was laughing!

Yes, many times. My cat loves to walk in front of me and I've accidently stepped on her tail a few times but she keeps doing it.

Everyday lol. My cat LOVES getting up in the middle of my feet, and my little Tricky Dog has a bad habit of just...stopping right in front of me. I call her my little brown speed bump, lol.
