Going into the Series I was expecting more of a battle from these equally crappy franchises.

Have they announced JETER as MVP yet?

Ya I also did to. Just consider the 2 teams playing. Detriot who nobody even thought they would have such a season, and the Cardinals who barely even got into the playoffs. I thought that the Tigers would have given a harder fight after sweeping the Athletics. To many errors I guess from the pitching staff did them in. Except the Cardinals pitched to the Tigers very fell spoting there breaking balls. The offense just wasnt there for the Tigers that was for the whole year and against the Yankees, and Athletics. Its almost like the Tigers didnt want to win. Personally I did except a larger battle than that did occur. Well Jim Leyland has some thinking to do in the offseason. The Cardinals just simply outbattled the Tigers with pitching and defense. My hat is off to them. They always seemed to come up the big clutch hits when they were needed. Eckstein played very well and he deserved the MVP. Pitching and defense wins championships and the Cards sure displayed it.

I was hoping to see more offense from both teams. I thought it would go to the 7th game and maybe extra innings. The Tigers were really a disappointment , too many errors. I like Jeter for MVP

Of course I did. NO ONE ever considered the Tigers would even make the play offs, let alone beat the Yankees, see a World Series this year. Once they got there, I was just happy to see them play. I think the one week off got into their heads, tensed them up.

They should content for a few years. The Twins and White Sox will be trying to improve-this Central division is going to be one tough division!

Thank you to Mike Maroth and all of the Tigers ! It was a terrific year!

A long time Tigers fan.

The only thing I was upset about was the defense. The pitching was above the average World Series and I would always rather see good pitching and good defense over great offense. By the way not yet it will happen on 11/21.

I really thought detroit was gonna play alot better than they did, I thought with the extra time off they had they would sweep the cardianls.
As far as Jeter goes, im sure he will be named MVP but David Ortiz should be.

I was expecting the Tigers to hit more and run more but the Cards kept them from doing that by being ahead.

on the beginning up of the placed up-season, i concept it replaced into gonna be Rays in '10 triumphing in 6 against the Phillies. Texas and San Francisco the two shocked me today. this must be a superb worldwide series.

I didnt expect much out of it..One side is full of inexperienced rookies who made costly mistakes, and a team full of old veterans who played small ball which bore me..i only watched Game 1 and the last game

Us Cardinal Fans are happy as a lark.
You must be a Tigers Fan, and embarrassed the way they played.
