I played soccer for 23 years, starting as a forward. My regular position was outside left so I took the corners from that side. As I was mainly right footed I would sometimes inswing them in, hopefully beyond the goalie's reach, for the forwards to head in. Usually I aimed for about ten yards out because that's too far for the goalie to reach. Other times i would have someone waiting on the edge of the penalty area and send it to him so he could get a shot in. If I took them from the right I would outswing them or drop them 10 yards out.

Around the penalty spot, because the keeper is not likely to come out that far, so you have a better chance to score.

It depends on the tactics laid out by the manager, but I'd definitely want to put it onto the head of my teammate, that's where.

I kick with my right foot. Either on the end line or the side line depending witch side it is on.

I'll go for near post... simply coz my team has a tall striker...

I think that you mostly want to put it where there is free man so he could grab it and shoot.
