President George W. Bush was born 6 July 1946 in New Haven, Connecticut, moved to Odessa, TX when he was 2 years old and settled in Midland, TX. Went to Yale in 1964 and graduated in 1968 with a bachelor's degree in History.

Yes, his grandfather Prescott Bush was a U.S. Senator from Connecticut. Also the Bush family were on the Mayflower, that sailed from England in the 17th Century and landed in Plysmouth, Massachusetts. Prez Bush adopted Texas as his home because his father former Prez Bush worked in the oil industry in Houston, Texas. And both Bushes went to Yale. Prez Bush today also went to Havard Business School with a GPA of just above 2.0 at Yale. Connection works wonders for success.

Unfortunately, yes...in New Haven, CT and actually graduated from Yale University thanks to daddy, with a D+ average.

Some where I read his biography and he in deed was born in Massachusetts.
I don't know about his academic background.
