Sure, but they'd do a lousy job once there. Having been raised to be honest and lawabiding will doom them to failure in the political arena.

It may be, if they abide the law and make others abide too. They must have leadership qualities. In today's world, not olny honesty but cunningness to reach the top also counts.

It's a step in the right direction. If they were intelligent and articulate, and supported the issues I think are important I would vote for them.

why would you want to put them through all the pain and suffering and snooping people would put them through of coarse if its there choice they should go for it and maybe they can change what bush screwed up literally
