I wish this several times a week especially while at work.
I wish I were 7, 8, or 9 years old with the security of having both my parents around, playing with my collection of dolls, running through the neighborhood with my friends all of us barefooted, never being stressed out for one moment.
You bet I wish I could be a kid again.

Every time I watch my son play football. I wish I was out there and just having the time of my life, I remember me and my brothers, I have 5, playing as kids. We would play football, baseball, hide and go seek with the neighbors. Our neighborhood had about twenty to thirty kids. We were all friends and had such great times. We would go to the woods and pretend we were fighting in Vietnam. We hung out at the pool and skating rink and at the arcade. Our local pizza place used to sell wagon wheel pizzas and we would drink root beer and act like we were cool. Riding bikes and being with each other was the best. But it was also hard. Dealing with other kids at school and being nervous around that special girl. School...yuck. I wish i could go back. But not back to school.

Yes, but only if I had the maturity that I have now. Then I might like to go back and do things differently. Still youth is tough - no freedom, but you don't have to work all of the time. Feelings of wanting to be an adult, but not knowing who you are. It was wonderful believing that you would be a success just because you wanted to be, but tough maturing and finding out that it took effort and sometimes very painful choices. So no, I wouldn't go back, but I do try to make my child's life the best that it can be.

I was lucky I guess, I had an average childhood but, I would only be a kid again if I could keep my current mind with all of my life experiences and stuff I have learned in it.
Can you imagine being a 6 year old with an adults brain?
Might be fun.

Yes and No. Everything has its advantages and disadvantages. Childhood is fun but limited. Adulthood could be fun but it's a matter of choice. But, being an adult doesn't mean we have to be really serious about life and have no fun. Just remember all the time that we all have this inner child in us...just waiting to be let out. No matter how busy we could get and what responsibilities we are facing in life, find time to play and enjoy the simple things around you.

Yes. Being a kid is the best time of one's life. You could do alot and not get into major big trouble. Not having the troubles of work but instead out playing with friends.

No I don't...I would not want to go back and go through the things I went through as a kid and you have to learn to love the different stages on your life....right now I am raising my son and if I was a kid again I wouldn't have him..
