I think that this year Ohio State team is even better then the 2002 National Championship Ohio State Buckeyes. I can’t explain it but it seems that way to me.

If a big east team goes undefeated they will play in the title game against the winner of the Michigan Ohio state game. While the big east sos is in the 90s except Louisville(70) its really in the hands of the voters with how high they are going to be ranked. If Louisville beats both WVa, and Rutgers they will leap frog all the one loss teams in the top ten. They would also have played roughly the same schedule as OSU in terms of how their opponents are ranked. Its going to be a mess at the end of the season if an undefeated team is left out of the title game and a one loss team gets in. Split championship again if the one loss team wins the BCS title game. Lets just hope OSU, Michigan and the other undefeateds dont all lose a game this year because if they do the last part of the season is going to be a mess. Bring the playoff system to DIV IA.

ohio state is clearly the top team. i agree that west virginia will probably go undefeated and end up getting the other BCS title game slot. but even if michigan loses to ohio state next month, i personally think that michigan or texas deserve a second shot at ohio state. michigan and texas would clobber west virginia if they played them.

arkansas looks really good. watch out for them as a sleeper pick to win the SEC.

southern cal has struggled this year. notre dame hasn't really dominated anyone either.. that will be an interesting game.

my other sleeper is Rutgers... they destroyed Illinois and Navy this year.. two teams that have given fits to other top ranked teams.. rutgers also crushed pittsburgh.

if rutgers convincingly beats louisville and west virginia, and run the table, then they will deserve serious consideration for BCS title game.

Ohio State is way too dominant to lose to anyone. Offensively they have way too many weapons and they have the lowest scoring defense in the nation. Michigan doesnt stand a chance, even considering they are playing in Columbus. Look for West Virginia and Ohio State in the National Title game - Ohio State coming out the victors.

Ohio State vs. Big East champ or SEC champ (especially if that team has only one loss) in the title game. Not sure if even an undefeated Big East champ will have enough strength of schedule to get the #2 spot.
