yes, they will get images, but maybe not how we would understand them.

Those who were once sighted, and are now blind will be able to see perfectly in their dreams. This is known.

The who were born this way, and have gained sight later, have said it was like a series of flahes and colors, but mostly feelings and understanding of personal experience.

Think of dreaming like rewinding your thoughts and feelings for the day and getting that brain ready for a new day of recordings.

I suspect that would depend on whether or not they were blind from birth, or reached that state thru some misfortune. If one has no sight from birth, they would have no images to use in a dream state, at least none that a sighted person would recognize.

yeah because they are thinking about it. it is like when your reading a book and the word make images in the book. it is basicly a thought and everyone thinks. so it is not what they see it might what they remember seeing when they werent blind or the thought of something it is kind of hard to explain and i just keep repeating myself

I believe their dreams consist more of sounds...and maybe sensory. If a person has never seen an image, and color, how would they be able to dream of them?

I thought about this before. It's an interesting concept. They see the world differently, so maybe they do see images, but the way they see them with their hands.... ?
