This just started happening after installing IE 7. there really is not a connection problem. All I do is click the 'refresh' button and the page comes up. But it is a annoyance.

clear your cache just in case.. the old IE may be messing things up (it's never really uninstalled when you install a newer version) OR what you could do is uninstall everything IE browser and if you have the full version of IE 7 then install that fresh.

also this is at times normal... IE 7 may have a bug in it... some glitch.

you can go to the ms site and look up for anything IE 7 issues in their help pages.. see if something comes up that you are experiencing.

sometimes a restart of your computer can cleanse the glitches out temporarily too.

IE has problems at times.. it's not a perfect program.

or the site may be having issues... sometimes it'll just look as if it's IE and it's just the host having down time and had just come back up online...

or you have a virus.. (a mild one) and it's now effected the new browser.. that would just take a spysweep or whatever you use to scan with. to see what's hanging around that may effect the efficiency of IE 7.

and also check the settings.. sometimes security levels or preferences you may have chosen can effect it's efficency too... can cause sites to not pop up as usual.. and you have to take an extra step.. sometimes high security can just about block anything and you'll get 404 type errors or site is down error when it's not really down or there's no missing site.

:D

browsers can be little nit picky and fussy... just work out some of these suggestions and any others that some may suggest to you that i didn't mention here.

It happens sometimes, mostly its because of incompatibility or instability of the software released. Do check if the browser is able to accept the cookie and some other settings. I personally will suggest you to try mozilla firefox its far better than ie 7
