I have a background in radio. In College, we learned that something called "dead-air" is like the last thing you want to happen. That's when nothing is going over the air...it's just silent.
My worst nightmares are always about me being at a station; the song is about to end, and I don't have another one in front of me to segue into...nothing.
I believe that in one dream, I began playing commercials (on cart...looks like a looped 8-track tape), but they were only 30 seconds long, not enough time to search for another CD, and I was about to run out of them, too.
So yeah, odd I'm sure, but those seriously are my worst nightmares.

war. I am older now and persistently through my life there have been times when the USA was involved in wars. Always during war times I have nightmares about it. During Viet Nam I was young and dreamed of fire. Now my nightmares are devastation.

That I'll be alive when the big one hits and we don't see it coming until the last few days. To look up and see it coming, knowning I can't escape nor do one damn thing about it.

lately, i've been dreaming that i'm suddenly going to have my baby. the doctors all stand around me and say she's coming NOW. then they knock me out and when i wake up they've taken her away and i can't find her anywhere! it's terrifying to me and horribly vivid! sounds crazy but it's scary because sometimes i wake up with charlie horses.
