how safe is your neighborhood?
how big is the area she will be trick-or treating in?
what time is trick-or-treating? (during the day or at night)

I wouldn't in this day and age. I would make a deal with her so that she has a choice. Remember, it's better being the "hated mom" for now than having something happen to your child.

They age counts...but aware that Police Reports say that most Child predators are out on Halloween....good to have a adult or a strong person around them

I don't know how old your child is, but I would not let her go. If I can't go with her and her friend she would not go either. Too many children are being kidnapped today.
